Anna Vaus, daughter of Grammy-winning artist Steve Vaus, grew up in San Diego before moving to Nashville to make her mark as a country music singer-songwriter. Her Saving This Kiss EP was released in November 2013.
Friday night she shared with us some mesmerizing and heart-felt lyrics along with beautiful melodies at The Merced Theatre. A full house of country loving fans came out and were completely enamored by her spell-binding vocals and magnetic energy!
Vaus played many of her hits
along with "Wild Honey"
and "Girl in a Bar".
Also played was her beautiful
cover of "Everybody Wants to
Rule The World" which got
the entire crowd swaying
back and forth.
Vaus shared personal aspects of her life prior to sharing a newer song, relating to many of the audience when asking "have you ever been dumped by somebody you never actually dated?" to which MANY in the audience responded with screams and yells in agreement, to which she said "well then, I guess this song is for you!"
The overall performance from Ava Vaus completely bypassed my expectations and definitely made me do more investigating and listening to her music, and I highly recommend you do the same!
